Evaluation of the effects of COVID-19 disease and the trimester in which the disease is diagnosed on obstetric and neonatal outcomes: A retrospective cohort study

The course of infection with the Delta variant of COVID-19 in pregnancy: analysis of clinical, laboratory, and neonatal outcomes

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the effects of Delta variant infection on the clinical course, laboratory parameters, and neonatal outcome in pregnant women with COVID-19. The results showed that pregnant women infected with the Delta variant had a 9.4% ICU admission rate and a 5.2% mortality rate. Pregnant women in the severe group had significantly higher rates of preterm birth and cesarean section. Close monitoring of CRP, WBC, and procalcitonin levels is recommended.

Obstetric, maternal, and neonatal outcomes in COVID-19 compared to healthy pregnant women in Iran: a retrospective, case-control study
