A new species of Galendromus Muma (Acari: Phytoseiidae) from the Caatinga biome, Brazil

Summary: A new species, Galendromus (Mugidromus) agreste sp. nov., was described and illustrated based on adults collected in an Altitudinal Atlantic Forest area of the Caatinga biome, Pernambuco, Brazil. The study reports intraspecific variations in setae insertion on the ventral surface and provides an updated identification key for the species of this subgenus.
