This article reports the first record of Eotetranychus libocedri in Russia, found on ornamental plants in urban environments. Among them, Platycladus orientalis is a new host plant.
Eotetranychus libocedri (McGregor, 1936) is recorded for the first time in Russia. As it is often the case, this species was collected in urban environments on two different ornamental plants, all belonging to Cupressaceae. Among them, Platycladus orientalis is a new host plant.
