Performance analysis of hybrid beamforming systems with analog mismatches

Kangqi Han et al.

Summary: The hybrid analog/digital beamforming architecture reduces the cost and power consumption of the massive MIMO system, but analog mismatches can degrade the beamforming accuracy and system performance. This paper studies the system performance of hybrid beamforming systems in the presence of analog mismatches and proposes a two-phase beamforming algorithm to compensate for the mismatches using digital precoder. The simulation results show satisfactory performance of the proposed algorithm.

MULTI-CHANNEL NARROW-BAND DEEP SPEECH SEPARATION WITH FULL-BAND PERMUTATION INVARIANT TRAINING

Changsheng Quan et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the problem of multi-channel multi-speech separation using deep learning techniques. A narrow-band network is proposed to directly process multi-channel mixture signals of a single frequency and output the separated signals. The network is trained to automatically exploit spatial information and solve the frequency permutation problem, leading to better performance compared to existing methods.

A novel efficient time and frequency waveform design for filter bank multicarrier communication systems by using Hybrid gray wolf optimization algorithm

A. Maroosi et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the issue of prototype filter design in multicarrier communication systems by proposing an algorithm that optimizes filter samples in both time and frequency domains simultaneously. By combining gray wolf optimization, Levenberg Marquardt, and pattern search algorithms, prototype filters with better performance characteristics are designed, outperforming conventional filters in simulation results.
