Low-Chattering Discretization of Homogeneous Differentiators

Avi Hanan et al.

Summary: The proposed simple modification of discrete homogeneous sliding-mode-based differentiators improves accuracy and reduces output chattering significantly in the absence of noises, while still maintaining differentiation accuracy in their presence. This approach is also extended to general discretely sampled homogeneous discontinuous systems. The theoretical results are confirmed by numerical experiments.
