Summary: This study investigates the various forms of violence experienced by homeless gay and transgender youth (HGTY) in Pakistan, and how social structural conditions contribute to a context of violence. The findings highlight that cultural intolerance towards sexual and gender diversity, shaped by social structures such as religion, ethnicity, and politics, plays a significant role in perpetuating violence against HGTY.
