Logistic Regression With Tangent Space-Based Cross-Subject Learning for Enhancing Motor Imagery Classification

Pramod Gaur et al.

Summary: This study proposes a novel method using logistic regression with tangent space-based transfer learning for motor imagery-based BCI classification problems. The method improves classification accuracy by transforming EEG signal features and applying a logistic regression model. The performance of the method is tested on healthy subjects' data set and stroke patients' data set, and it outperforms existing methods in both cases.

FBDM based time-frequency representation for sleep stages classification using EEG signals

Vipin Gupta et al.

Summary: This paper presents a new method of time-frequency representation based on Fourier-Bessel decomposition, which decomposes non-stationary signals into a finite number of Fourier-Bessel intrinsic band functions using zero-phase filter-bank. Experimental results show that this method is more effective for analyzing non-stationary multi-component signals.
