Proportional Integral Predictive Control of High-Order Fully Actuated Networked Multiagent Systems With Communication Delays

Da-Wei Zhang et al.

Summary: This research focuses on the cooperative control of high-order fully actuated networked multiagent systems with communication delays. A proportional integral predictive control scheme is developed to achieve cooperation among the systems and compensate for the delays. The study also provides a simple condition to verify the stability and output consensus of the closed-loop systems.

A distributed predictive formation control strategy for cyber-physical multi-agent systems under communication constraints

Lei Cao et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the formation control problem under communication constraints for leader-follower cyber-physical multi-agent systems (CPMASs). A distributed predictive formation control (DPFC) protocol is designed to compensate for constraints in the network and achieve formation consensus and stability. The necessary and sufficient condition for stability and consensus is derived through detailed analysis. The control performance of the DPFC scheme is validated through numerical simulations and an air-bearing-simulator (ABS) formation control experiment.

Hybrid event-triggered synchronization control of delayed chaotic neural networks against communication delay and random data loss

Zifan Gao et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the network-based synchronization control of delayed chaotic neural networks. A new hybrid event-triggered communication scheme is presented to handle the random loss of triggered sampled-data. Under this scheme, a quantitative relation between the allowable data loss probability and the fixed triggering interval can be revealed. The proposed criteria exploit delay-dependent synchronization with less conservatism by using the boundary information and interrelation of both communication delay and input delay.

Cooperative Target Enclosing of Ring-Networked Underactuated Autonomous Surface Vehicles Based on Data-Driven Fuzzy Predictors and Extended State Observers

Yue Jiang et al.

Summary: This article addresses the cooperative target enclosing problem of ring-networked underactuated autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) and presents an integrated distributed guidance and model-free control method. The proposed method uses extended state observers (ESOs) and a data-driven fuzzy predictor to estimate unknown relative kinematics and control gains, and designs guidance laws and control laws for target enclosing. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Path following of under-actuated ships based on model predictive control with state observer

Zongxuan Li et al.

Summary: A MPC method with LESO is proposed to tackle the path following issues for under-actuated surface ships without velocity measurements, addressing input constraints, uncertain parameters, and external disturbances. LOS guidance algorithm and variable acceptable radius approach are used for path following and heading control, while Norrbin model and LESO are employed for handling heading control and input constraints to enhance controller robustness and accuracy.

Distributed guidance-based formation control of marine vehicles under switching topology

Cheng Liu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the formation control of marine vehicles under switching topology in complex marine environment, proposing a novel distributed guidance system based on leader-follower strategy. Model predictive control is used to design the marine formation controller to address the input saturation problem, with the predictive mechanism preventing constraint violation in advance. Multiple simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the distributed guidance-based MPC formation controllers.

Consensus of Continuous-Time Multiagent Systems via Delayed Output Feedback: Delay Versus Connectivity

Tian Qi et al.

Summary: This article examines the consensus problem in continuous-time linear time-invariant multiagent systems with delayed communication channels in a fixed undirected topology. By using analytic interpolation techniques, the authors solve the consensus problem and provide an explicit condition for consensus, which also limits network connectivity imposed by time delays, agent's unstable poles and nonminimum phase zeros.

Summary: This article addresses the cooperative regulation problem for heterogeneous linear multiagent systems, presenting two novel adaptive protocols to solve the cooperative output regulation problem. These protocols take into account communication constraints, snatchy and asynchronous information exchange between agents, unknown time-varying delays, and probable information losses. Simulation results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
