Correlation between sinus rhythm deceleration zones and critical sites for localized reentrant atrial flutter: A retrospective multicenter analysis

Christopher E. Woods et al.

Summary: This study examined the correlation between critical isthmus (CI) sites for localized atrial flutter (AFL) and deceleration zones (DZ) identified during baseline rhythm. The results showed that in patients with localized AFL, CI co-localized with DZ, suggesting that DZ mapping during sinus rhythm may provide potential targets for ablation therapy.
