3D-Printed Flexible Piezoresistive Sensors for Stretching and Out-of-Plane Forces

Dong Xiang et al.

Summary: In this study, flexible piezoresistive sensors were 3D-printed using conductive polymer composites of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphite nanosheet (GNP) in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The 75-CNT/25-GNP sensor showed superior sensing performance and stability compared to other sensors, with a higher linearity and gauge factor. The synergy between CNTs and GNPs in enhancing the sensing performance of piezoresistive sensors was clearly demonstrated.
