Cooling Effect and Cooling Speed for a Membrane-in-Middle Optomechanical System

Efficient ground state cooling of a membrane by the combination of continuous-wave field and pulses

Summary: We propose a method for ground state cooling of the optomechanical system by combining continuous-wave and pulsed external drives, achieving a more efficient cooling process. Experimental results show that our cooling effect is better than traditional methods and can relax the requirements for experimental technology.
