General interaction quenches in a Luttinger liquid

You-Ming Wei et al.

Summary: In this study, we discuss the general interaction quench in a Luttinger liquid described by a paired bosonic Hamiltonian. By using the su(1,1) Lie algebra, we analytically obtain the time-evolved wavefunctions after the quench, which allows us to investigate the evolution of entanglement in momentum space. We find that the expressions of wavefunctions, which describe the time-evolved paired states, can take different forms depending on the choice of Bogoliubov quasiparticles. Furthermore, we discuss the correspondence between the largest entanglement eigenvalue in momentum space and the wavefunction overlap in quench dynamics, extending the results of Dora et al (2016, Phys. Rev. Lett. 117, 010 603). We provide a numerical demonstration on an XXZ lattice model using the exact diagonalization method.

Exact quantum scars in the chiral nonlinear Luttinger liquid

Frank Schindler et al.

Summary: In this work, a large family of exact eigenstates for density-density interaction terms is found, showing diverse real-space entanglement entropy scaling behaviors and identified through momentum-space entanglement as quantum many-body scars. These exact states differ from typical eigenstates in their momentum-space entanglement and are enabled by the interplay of Fermi statistics and chirality.

Matrix product states and projected entangled pair states: Concepts, symmetries, theorems

J. Ignacio Cirac et al.

Summary: The theory of entanglement provides a new language for describing interactions and correlations in many-body systems, with vocabulary consisting of qubits and entangled pairs, and syntax provided by tensor networks. Matrix product states and projected entangled pair states describe how entanglement is routed, act as a novel type of nonlocal order parameter, and their symmetries reflect global entanglement patterns. Tensor networks enable the construction of real-space renormalization group flows and fixed points, and are used to examine the entanglement structure of states with topological quantum order.

Momentum-space entanglement in scalar field theory on fuzzy spheres

Shoichi Kawamoto et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the correlations among degrees of freedom of different energy scales in quantum field theory defined on a noncommutative space using entanglement entropy in momentum space. The study finds differences in behaviors of scalar field theory on a fuzzy sphere compared to a usual continuous sphere, which are attributed to non-planar contributions and matrix regularizations. Moreover, the mutual information between low and high momentum modes displays different scaling behaviors when a cutoff effect becomes significant.
