Summary: In patients with acute large vessel occlusion stroke, mechanical thrombectomy alone did not show noninferiority compared to combined intravenous thrombolysis plus mechanical thrombectomy in terms of favorable functional outcomes. However, there was also no evidence of inferiority due to wide confidence intervals.
