Triple-product asymmetry in the radiative two-pion tau decay

Cheng Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, we conducted a detailed investigation of the tau(-) -> pi(-)pi(0)gamma nu decay process in resonance chiral theory, with a specific focus on the triple-product asymmetry. By including the minimal resonance chiral Lagrangian and odd-intrinsic parity resonance operators, we calculated the decay amplitudes and examined various invariant-mass distributions in different systems. Our predictions include intriguing nonzero triple-product asymmetry distributions, which can be valuable for future experimental measurements at Belle-II and super tau-charm facilities.

QCD analysis of electromagnetic Dalitz decays J=ψ → η eth 0 THORN l + l -

Jun-Kang He et al.

Summary: In this study, electromagnetic Dalitz decays J=?? ??? ????0??e??e??? with large recoil momentum are investigated using perturbative QCD. The soft contributions from the small recoil momentum region are described by the overlap of soft wave functions, and the resonance contributions are estimated by the vector meson dominance model. The transition form factors f??????0????q2?? in the full kinematic region are calculated for the first time, and they are found to be insensitive to the shapes of the ????0?? distribution amplitudes. The predicted normalized transition form factor F??????q2?? agrees well with experimental data. The branching ratios B??J=?? ??? ????0??e??e????? are dominated by perturbative QCD contributions, with negligible contributions from resonances and soft effects due to kinematic suppression.
