An energy-efficient priority-based packet scheduling mechanism for enhancing quality of service in mobile ad hoc network

The mechanism predicts congestion in the network using cross-layer parameters, reduces overhead by 20% and increases network throughput by 17% compared to existing methods, as demonstrated in NS-2 simulations.
