Removal of carbaryl pesticide in aqueous solution by UV and UV/hydrogen peroxide processes

Activated porous carbon supported Pd and ZnO nanocatalysts for trace sensing of carbaryl pesticide in water and food products

Summary: Nanomaterials-based sensors are crucial for accurate and reliable determination of pesticides in water and food samples. In this study, Pd and ZnO nanoparticles supported on activated carbons were prepared and used for the efficient electrochemical detection of carbaryl. The fabricated Pd/ZnO/APC nanocomposites showed excellent sensing ability for carbaryl with low detection limits and high selectivity, reproducibility, and long-term stability.

ZnO/ZnFe2O4 nanocomposite-based electrochemical nanosensors for the detection of furazolidone in pork and shrimp samples: exploring the role of crystallinity, phase ratio, and heterojunction formation

The formation of heterojunction significantly improves the electrochemical responses.
