Clinical and Demographic Profile of Inflammatory Bowel Disease Patients in a Reference Center of Sao Paulo, Brazil

Summary: This retrospective study analyzed the clinical and demographic data of CD and UC patients at a referral center in Sao Paulo. The study found that UC was more prevalent in women than CD, and CD patients were more likely to develop complications such as strictures, fistulas, and perianal diseases. CD patients required more treatments and surgical interventions compared to UC patients.
