Black Hole in Quantum Wave Dark Matter

Reggie C. Pantig et al.

Summary: In this work, the researchers investigated the impact of fuzzy dark matter (FDM) or wave dark matter on a supermassive black hole (SMBH). By treating the FDM as a spherical distribution surrounding the SMBH, they obtained a new metric that combines the black hole and dark matter spacetime geometries. The study also analyzed the effects of soliton dark matter on the shadow behavior and weak deflection angle, and found considerable deviations that suggest the possible experimental detection of soliton dark matter using an SMBH at the galactic centers.

Weak Deflection Angle, Hawking Radiation and Greybody Bound of Reissner-Nordstrom Black Hole Corrected by Bounce Parameter

Wajiha Javed et al.

Summary: In this study, we investigated the weak lensing effects of a Reissner-Nordstrom black hole corrected by a bounce parameter in plasma and dark matter mediums. Using optical geometry and the Gibbons-Werner approach, we found that these mediums increase the bending angle of the black hole. Additionally, we examined the impact of the bounce parameter on the deflection angle of light and computed the Hawking radiation using a topological method.

Thermodynamics and logarithmic corrections of symmergent black holes

Riasat Ali et al.

Summary: In this paper, the researchers investigate the effect of quantum gravity on the symmergent black hole derived from quadratic-curvature gravity. A modified Klein-Gordon equation, incorporating the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP), is used to study the tunneling and Hawking temperature of the symmergent black hole. The stability conditions of the black hole under the influence of GUP are examined by analyzing the temperature graphs near the outer horizon. The impact of thermal fluctuations on the thermodynamics of the black hole spacetime is also analyzed, including the evaluation of logarithmic correction terms for entropy and the viability of the first law of thermodynamics.

Nonlinear electrodynamics effects on the black hole shadow, deflection angle, quasinormal modes and greybody factors

Summary: In this paper, the effects of nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) on non-rotating black holes are discussed, including various observable and physical properties. It is found that the NED black hole is always surrounded by an event horizon and any magnetic charge is permissible. The black hole gets colder with increasing charge, and the observed shadow radius is strongly affected by the magnetic charge parameter P. The introduction of charge steepens the greybody factor of the black hole.

Classification of Circular Equatorial Orbits around Regular Rotating Black Holes and Solitons with the de Sitter/ Phantom Interiors

Summary: The study focuses on the basic properties of circular equatorial orbits for regular axially symmetric solutions obtained using the Gurses-Gursey formalism, describing regular rotating black holes and spinning solitons. These objects have interior de Sitter equatorial disks with two possible interior configurations determined by energy conditions. It is found that in the field of spinning solitons, innermost orbits exist within ergoregions related to phantom regions, and corotating light rings can exist around spinning solitons and regular black holes, with stable configurations for certain types of black holes.

Summary: This paper analyzes the shadow of a charged rotating black hole in f(R) gravity and examines the effects of spin, charge, and modification of gravity on the shadow's shape, as well as the influence of the presence of plasma. The results show that the shadow becomes smaller with increasing electric charge, and increasing rotation parameters leads to a change in the circular symmetry of the black hole's shadow image. Additionally, the plasma parameter affects the size of the shadow.

Photon regions, shadow observables, and constraints from M87*of a charged rotating black hole

Summary: Inspired by EHT observations of M87*, this paper explores a charged rotating black hole in conformal gravity, revealing its spacetime properties and characteristic shadow observables. Comparisons with Kerr and KN black holes show that constraints on M87* parameters are satisfied across the entire parameter space of the charged rotating black hole, but the shadow angular diameter provides an upper bound. These findings suggest that the current charged rotating black hole in conformal gravity could be a candidate for astrophysical black holes, and EHT observations may help distinguish it from a Kerr black hole in some parameter space.

Dark matter effect on the weak deflection angle by black holes at the center of Milky Way and M87 galaxies

Three known dark matter density profiles are considered and the positional angles are measured using the Ishihara et al. method. The emergence of apparent divergent terms on the dark matter profiles is found, but they vanish when the distance from the black hole is large. The weak deflection angle varies interestingly with the impact parameter, providing insights into the interaction between dark matter and null particles.
