Accurate modeling of FeSe with screened Fock exchange and Hund metal correlations

Tommaso Gorni et al.

Summary: The study successfully reproduced the electronic properties of FeSe in the high-temperature phase, capturing experimental band structures and supporting interpretations of surface electron doping in ARPES studies. Additionally, the modeling matched well with interband optical spectra and qualitatively captured the temperature dependence of thermoelectric power sensitive to bands around the Fermi level.

Electronic correlations and absence of superconductivity in the collapsed phase of LaFe2As2

Jianzhou Zhao et al.

Summary: By comparing the electronic structures of LaFe2As2 and CaFe2As2, researchers found that they are similar in terms of electronic correlation and Fermi-surface topology, suggesting that superconductivity may also be induced in the collapsed phase of LaFe2As2 under similar conditions as for CaFe2As2.
