Oxygen Vacancy Clusters Enriched TiO2 with Low Pt Content for Superior Photocatalytic Activity

Xujun Ma et al.

Summary: A facile strategy was developed to prepare Ov cluster enriched TiO2 (Ovc-TiO2) through pre-hydroxylation-assisted vacuum calcination, and the occurrence of Ov clusters was verified by the fluorine-occupied strategy. Ovc-TiO2/Pt exhibited superior photocatalytic performance for CO oxidation at low Pt loading amounts, significantly better than Ov-TiO2/Pt.

Two steps synthesis of CeTiOx oxides nanotube catalyst: Enhanced activity, resistance of SO2 and H2O for low temperature NH3-SCR of NOx

Zhiping Zhang et al.

Summary: CeTiOx-T with nanotube structure exhibits excellent catalytic activity, SO2 and H2O tolerance, and stability in NH3-SCR reaction. The strong interaction between Ce and Ti leads to short-range ordered Ce-O-Ti species, resulting in a larger BET surface area and higher NH3-SCR performance than traditional catalysts. In situ DRIFTS results suggest different reaction mechanisms at low and high temperatures over CeTiOx-T.

CeCoOx-MNS catalyst derived from three-dimensional mesh nanosheet Co-based metal-organic frameworks for highly efficient catalytic combustion of VOCs

Fang Dong et al.

Summary: Various three-dimensional Co-based metal organic frameworks (Co-MOFs) are successfully synthesized, including three-dimensional nanocube, mesh nanosheets, and prismatic nanotube Co-MOFs. The CeCoOx-MNS catalyst derived from Co-MOFs-MNS precursor exhibits superior activity for VOCs oxidation, with more Co3+ and Ce3+ species, and abundant surface weak acid sites. In situ DRIFTS results indicate the main reaction intermediates and potential reaction pathway.

A strategy for constructing highly efficient yolk-shell Ce@Mn@TiOx catalyst with dual active sites for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

Xiaosheng Huang et al.

Summary: In this work, core-shell Ce@MnOx catalysts were prepared by hydrothermal treatment, improving redox capacity through the coexistence of Ce and Mn. Yolk-shell Ce@Mn@TiOx structures were constructed to enhance ammonia adsorption and protect active sites, showing excellent catalytic performance for NH3-SCR. The outer TiO2 shell enhanced ammonia adsorption, while the MnOx interlayer ensured efficient redox cycles during the process.
