All-perovskite tandem solar cells with improved grain surface passivation

Co-Evaporated Formamidinium Lead Iodide Based Perovskites with 1000 h Constant Stability for Fully Textured Monolithic Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Solar Cells

Summary: Formamidinium iodide (FAI) based perovskite absorbers have shown to be ideal candidates for highly efficient and stable perovskite solar cells. By co-evaporating FAPbI(3) and controlling the composition, stability of the black perovskite phase at room temperature is achieved. The addition of methylammonium iodide (MAI) during the co-evaporation process leads to good absorption properties and high PSC efficiencies, maintaining stability over long periods of operation.
