Angular distributions of 0 meson decay amplitudes in e+e- and K+K- channels were computed using specific interaction Lagrangians and arguments based on angular momentum conservation. The obtained results were used to assess methods for experimentally distinguishing the longitudinal and transverse polarization modes of the 0 meson, and advantages and disadvantages of using either leptonic or hadronic decay modes were discussed.
Angular distributions of 0 meson decay amplitudes of e+e- and K+K- channels are computed using both specific interaction Lagrangians and simple arguments relying on angular momentum conservation. Based on the obtained results, we assess methods to experimentally disentangle the longitudinal and transverse polarization modes of the 0 meson and discuss advantages and disadvantages of employing either the leptonic or hadronic decay modes for this task.
