MHD Micropolar Fluid in a Porous Channel Provoked by Viscous Dissipation and Non-Linear Thermal Radiation: An Analytical Approach

M. Saraswathy et al.

Summary: This study investigates the combined effect of nonlinear thermal radiation, viscous dissipation, and magnetic field in a porous medium. It introduces the use of both a porous wall and a porous material, considering the importance of thermal radiation in space technology and high temperature processes. Nonlinear thermal radiation is utilized to overcome errors caused by linear thermal radiation at high temperature variations. The nonlinear equations are solved using the R-K integration procedure with the shooting method, and graphical analysis is conducted to assess the consequences of engineering factors. The results are validated against numerical data and compared with existing studies, showing good agreement.

Finite Difference Computation of Au-Cu/Magneto-Bio-Hybrid Nanofluid Flow in an Inclined Uneven Stenosis Artery

H. Thameem Basha et al.

Summary: This study investigates the fluid transport behavior of gold-copper/biomagnetic blood hybrid nanofluid in an inclined irregular stenosis artery, considering varying viscosity and Lorentz force. The results show that Lorentz force significantly reduces the velocity of the hybrid nanofluid, while increasing Grashof number enhances blood flow rate. Increasing the angle parameter reduces the resistance impedance on the wall, and hybrid nanoparticles have higher wall shear stress than copper nanoparticles. Heat transfer rate increases with increasing nanoparticle concentration, and the applied Lorentz force significantly reduces the flow rate of the hybrid and unitary nanofluid. The hybrid nanoparticles exhibit a superior rate of heat transfer compared to copper nanoparticles in a blood base fluid, and the blood base fluid has a lower temperature.

Simulation of the dynamics of colloidal mixture of water with various nanoparticles at different levels of partial slip: Ternary-hybrid nanofluid

Wenhao Cao et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow characteristics of ternary-hybrid nanofluids and their influence under temperature difference, nonlinear thermal radiation, and partial slip. The results show that partial slip reduces the friction at the wall, with the lowest decreasing rate observed in free convection. When induced by mixed convection, the increased motion of the three types of nanoparticles leads to optimal mass and heat transfer rates.

Unsteady absorption flow and dissipation heat transfer over a non-Newtonian fluid

Machireddy Gnaneswara Reddy et al.

Summary: The current research investigates the flow of an unsteady Casson fluid through a stretching sheet with a thermal radiation effect. The study also incorporates the effects of heat absorption/generation, viscous disputation, and Joule heating. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into boundary layer regimes and further simplified into ordinary differential equations using similarity variables. The results are presented graphically to illustrate the behavior of different parameters in the problem. Physical quantities are tabulated and analyzed. It is found that thicker values of beta* scale back the velocity field, and higher values of Nr* increase the thickness of the thermal layer.
