An efficient and practical method for the phosphorylation-acylation of 2-vinyl pyridines has been developed. This protocol provides a sustainable strategy for the synthesis of novel alpha,beta-acylphosphinoyl compounds and can be easily scaled up. Mechanistic studies revealed a nucleophilic addition/oxygen transfer process.
An efficient and convenient three-component phosphorylation-acylation of 2-vinyl pyridines under mild conditions has been developed. This protocol provides a sustainable and practical strategy for the synthesis of novel alpha,beta-acylphosphinoyl compounds, and this system was easily operated and efficiently scaled up. Mechanism studies indicated that a nucleophilic addition/oxygen transfer process was involved.
