By tuning the geometry and size of the ligand and using phosphite as a bridging linker, {Ti-3(mu(3)-O)} can be assembled into a discrete {Ti-6} cluster, coordination capsule {Ti18Cu3} and one-dimensional coordination polymer {Ti-6}(n).
