Summary: This study aimed to determine the prevalence estimate and association of transfusion-transmitted infections (TTIs) with ABO and Rh blood groups among blood donors in Saudi Arabia. The results showed that donors with O blood group, especially O RhD +ve blood group, were more at risk of TTIs, while donors with AB blood group, especially AB RhD -ve blood group, were at the lowest risk of TTIs.
