Linear mixed models for single-stage production scheduling: state of the art

Maria Luisa Munoz Diaz et al.

Summary: This document presents a bibliographic review and taxonomy for mixed integer linear programming models (PLEM) in production planning. It analyzes single-stage models for their interest in different types of production processes. A total of 30 models have been studied and classified according to their objectives, formulation, representation, characteristics, and restrictions, providing a clear and concise presentation of these models and a framework for further development.
