Deep remission from induction chemotherapy predicts favorable long-term survivals in early stage extranodal nasal NK/T-cell lymphoma receiving sequential chemotherapy and radiation

Fei Qi et al.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the association between induction chemotherapy response and survival in localized extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL) patients and explore a response-adapted treatment strategy. The results showed that deep remission was associated with favorable survival, and intensified chemotherapy could improve the survival of patients who did not achieve complete remission after induction chemotherapy.

Validation of nomogram-revised risk index and comparison with other models for extranodal nasal-type NK/T-cell lymphoma in the modern chemotherapy era: indication for prognostication and clinical decision-making

Si-Ye Chen et al.

Summary: The study introduces an easily used nomogram-revised risk index (NRI) for predicting overall survival of patients with extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal-type. The NRI outperformed other prognostic indices in accuracy and had superior outcomes in decision curve analysis, making it a promising tool for clinical trial design and personalized treatment selection.

Progression-free survival at 24 months and subsequent survival of patients with extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma: a China Lymphoma Collaborative Group (CLCG) study

Yong Yang et al.

Summary: Limited evidence supports the use of early endpoints to evaluate the success of initial treatment of ENKTCL. Analysis of a large cohort revealed that patients achieving PFS24 had a higher overall survival rate than those who did not, suggesting PFS24 may be useful for study design and risk stratification in ENKTCL.
