Periodic solutions to perturbed nonlinear oscillators with memory

Paolo Maria Mariano et al.

Summary: In this article, we investigate a class of nonlinear dynamical systems with memory and establish the conditions under which periodic perturbations lead to solutions with the same period. We particularly focus on memory kernels of Gamma-type, which highlight critical phenomena from the past.

Periodic Perturbations of a Class of Functional Differential Equations

Marco Spadini

Summary: The study investigates the existence of connected branches of periodic solutions of T-periodic perturbations of functional differential equations on differentiable manifolds. The result is achieved through a combination of degree-theoretic methods and a technique that links bounded solutions of the functional equation to those of a suitable ordinary differential equation.
