Design and identify the confinement effect of active site position on catalytic performance for selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 at low temperature

Xiaosheng Huang et al.

Summary: In this work, two types of confined catalysts, Pore-CeW/OMT and FW-CeW/OMT, were successfully designed for NH3-SCR process. The results showed that the FW-CeW/OMT structure could effectively prevent the migration and aggregation of dispersed nanoparticles. The citric acid pretreatment significantly enhanced the catalyst's surface acidity and catalytic activity. The framework confined FW-CeW/OMT exhibited a wide operating temperature window, good thermal stability, and strong sulfur resistance in NH3-SCR process.

Ordered mesoporous TiO2 framework confined CeSn catalyst exhibiting excellent high activity for selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 at low temperature

Yibo Mu et al.

Summary: A novel CeSnOx/TiO2-E catalyst with ordered mesoporous structure was synthesized, which exhibited excellent activity, selectivity, and toxicity resistance. The ordered mesoporous structure allowed for high dispersion of nanoparticles, while Sn-doping changed the electronic structure and increased the charge exchange frequency, resulting in outstanding redox ability and abundant acidic sites. The synergistic effect and enhanced anti-poisoning ability of the catalyst were guided by the ordered mesoporous structure.
