Cultural Dimensions and Social Media Empowerment in Digital Era: Travel-Related Continuance Usage Intention

Summary: This study focuses on the impact of cultural values on travelers' intention to use social media. The results show that collectivism and long-term orientation are significantly related to the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of social media, influencing continuance usage intention. Uncertainty avoidance, however, has no relevance. Social media self-efficacy indirectly affects continuance usage intention through perceived usefulness.

Safety, nature, historical sites, quality services, and easy transportation connections are key attractions for seniors choosing a destination. Remote regions show significant potential for senior tourism development, but face challenges such as difficulties in marketing to seniors, lack of promotion for local senior tourist products, and insufficient financial resources for projects supporting senior tourism.

The impact of smart tourism technology and domestic travelers' technology readiness on their satisfaction and behavioral intention: A cross-country comparison

Summary: This study examined the impact of smart tourism technologies (STTs) and travelers' technology readiness (TR) on satisfaction and future behavioral intention, revealing that TR has a more significant influence on satisfaction than STTs. Cross-country comparison showed that TR and perspectives toward STTs differently affected satisfaction with STTs by destination country.
