A smart nanoplatform that can respond to multiple biomarkers has been developed in this study to track the intracellular delivery of a 2D nanosystem in real-time. Our work offers a promising approach to develop an optimized imaging nanoplatform for site-specific imaging and real-time tracking of the delivery process.
