Strongly Bound Dibaryon with Maximal Beauty Flavor from Lattice QCD

Nilmani Mathur et al.

Summary: We present the first lattice QCD study of the heavy dibaryons with all six quarks being of bottom flavor. Using state-of-the-art lattice QCD calculation, we provide clear evidence for a deeply bound SZbbb-SZbbb dibaryon in the 1S0 channel, identified as a pole singularity in the S-wave scattering amplitude. The binding energy is found to be -81(+14-16) MeV. The Coulomb repulsion only serves as a perturbation on the ground state wave function and has a negligible effect on the strong binding.

Nature of X(6900) and its production mechanism at LHCb

Chang Gong et al.

Summary: We find that Pomeron exchanges play a crucial role in vector charmonium scatterings and can provide an explanation for the unique structures observed by the LHCb Collaboration. The presence of a narrow structure X(6900), formed by the exchange of Pomerons and coupled-channel effects, is predicted near the di-J/psi threshold. Furthermore, we predict that X(6900) will result in significant threshold enhancement in the J/psi-psi(2S) energy spectrum, which can be detected at LHCb.

Fully Heavy Tetraquark Spectroscopy in the Relativistic Quark Model

Rudolf N. N. Faustov et al.

Summary: This study calculates the masses of fully heavy tetraquarks' ground and excited states (namely 1P, 2S, 1D, 2P, 3S) comprising charm and bottom quarks and antiquarks. The calculations are based on the diquark-antidiquark picture within the relativistic quark model and employ the quasipotential approach and quantum chromodynamics. The findings demonstrate that most investigated states of tetraquarks exist as broad resonances above the decay thresholds.

Searching for fully-heavy tetraquark states in QCD moment sum rules

Wei Chen et al.

Summary: This talk briefly reports on the investigations of mass spectra for tetraquark states using the QCD moment sum rule method. The existence of fully-charm tetraquarks, including the observation of X(6900) di-J/psi resonances in LHCb, has been successfully predicted. Quantum numbers for these resonance structures have also been suggested. More efforts are needed in both theoretical and experimental aspects to study the properties of these fully-heavy tetraquark states.

Fully heavy hexaquark states via the QCD sum rules

Zhi-Gang Wang

Summary: In this paper, we construct diquark-cliquark-cliquark-type vector six-quark currents and use them to investigate vector and scalar hexaquark states. We also make predictions for hexaquark masses. In the future, we can search for fully heavy hexaquark states in the di-Omega(ccc) and di-Omega(bbb) invariant mass spectra. This study, combined with previous works on tetraquark and pentaquark states, can provide insights into the nature of fully heavy multiquark states.

Spectrum of cc(b)over-bar(b)over-bar, bc(c)over-bar(c)over-bar, and bc(b)over-bar(b)over-bar tetraquark states in the dynamical diquark model

Halil Mutuk

Summary: This article introduces the dynamical diquark model, which proposes that exotic hadrons can be formed from colored diquarks. Using numerical calculations and approximation methods, the mass spectra of S-wave cc (b) over bar(b) over bar, bc (c) over bar(c) over bar, and bc (b) over bar(b) over bar tetraquark systems are studied, with one of the systems identified as a candidate for a bound state.

Diffusion Monte Carlo calculations of fully heavy compact hexaquarks

J. M. Alcaraz-Pelegrina et al.

Summary: A diffusion Monte Carlo technique was used to describe fully heavy compact arrangements in a constituent quark model. The masses of the six-quark arrangements were found to be larger than the sums of any of the two baryons they can be split into, but smaller than the masses for a set of six isolated quarks, indicating that they are bound systems. The analysis showed that all the hexaquarks considered in this study are compact objects, except for cccbbb, which appears to be a loose association of two baryons for all possible spin values.

Spectrum of the S-wave fully-heavy tetraquark states

Jie Zhang et al.

Summary: This study systematically investigates the fully heavy tetraquark states using a nonrelativistic constituent quark model, taking into account the instanton-induced and one-gluon exchange interactions. The results show the existence of specific states at certain energy ranges. It suggests that the newly observed X(6900) state by LHCb may be an excited state, while the reported X(6600) state by CMS and ATLAS may be a ground state tetraquark.

Deciphering the recently discovered tetraquark candidates around 6.9 GeV

Jacob Sonnenschein et al.

Summary: A novel hadronic state with a mass of 6.9 GeV discovered by LHCb decays mainly to a pair of charmonia, while data also suggests the presence of broader structures and unconfirmed resonances. It is argued that these exotic hadrons are tetraquarks with a V-baryonium structure, and the need for further research and testing for the decay of the state at 7.2 GeV into Xi ccXi cc is emphasized.

Mass-spectroscopy of [bb][(b)over-bar(b)over-bar] and [bq][(b)over-bar(q)over-bar] tetraquark states in a diquark-antidiquark formalism

Rohit Tiwari et al.

Summary: In this article, a non-relativistic potential model is utilized to calculate the mass-spectra of bottom and heavy-light bottom tetraquark states. The four-body problem is simplified into a two-body problem using a diquark-antidiquark approximation, and the Schrodinger equation is solved numerically with a Cornell-inspired potential and relativistic correction term. Various spin-dependent terms are used to describe the splitting structure of the tetraquark spectrum. The calculated masses of bottom mesons, diquarks, and tetraquarks fall within specific energy ranges, and the Z(b)(10610) and Z(b)(10650) states are found to be below certain thresholds in the current model.

On the mechanism of T4c(6900) tetraquark production

Rafal Maciula et al.

Summary: The study discusses the production mechanism of a putative fully charm tetraquark observed by LHCb recently, considering both single parton scattering (SPS) and double parton scattering (DPS) mechanisms. Calculations show that the contribution of DPS is almost two orders of magnitude larger than SPS, but the tetraquark formation mechanism remains unknown. The preferred spin scenario is 0(+) over 0(-) based on comparison with LHCb preliminary data.

Tetraquark state X(6900) and the interaction between diquark and antidiquark

Hong-Wei Ke et al.

Summary: This study investigates the possible cc-(c) over bar(c) over bar bound states and the interaction between diquark (cc) and antidiquark ((c) over bar(c) over bar) within the Bethe-Salpeter framework. Numerical solutions of the B-S equations for different quantum numbers show that some excited states' spectra can be close to the mass of the newly discovered X(6900) with appropriate parameter values. Future measurements of the bb-(b) over bar(b) over bar state may aid in determining the exact form of effective interaction.

X(6200) as a compact tetraquark in the QCD string model

A. V. Nefediev

Summary: The LHCb Collaboration recently observed nontrivial structures in the double-J/psi mass spectrum in the mass range of 6.2-7.2 GeV, and identified a new state X(6200) close to the double-J/psi threshold. The QCD string model suggests the existence of a compact cccc state below the double-J/psi threshold, with an interplay between quark dynamics and molecular dynamics. The physical X(6200) is argued to be a shallow bound state, consistent with the results of the coupled-channel analysis of the LHCb data.

Exclusive radiative production of fully-charmed tetraquarks at B factory
