Search for Low-energy Electron Antineutrinos in KamLAND Associated with Gravitational Wave Events

Summary: Results of a search for MeV-scale electron antineutrino events in KamLAND coincident with the 60 gravitational wave events/candidates reported by the LIGO/Virgo collaboration show no significant coincident signals, with 90% C.L. upper limits presented on the electron antineutrino fluence between 10^8 and 10^13 cm^(-2) for neutrino energies in the range of 1.8-111 MeV.

Search for event bursts in XMASS-I associated with gravitational-wave events

Summary: In this study, event bursts associated with 11 gravitational-wave events detected during LIGO/Virgo's O1 and O2 periods were searched for in the XMASS-I detector. No significant event burst was observed for the binary neutron star merger GW170817, while a burst candidate with 3.0 sigma significance was found in the analysis for the binary black hole merger event GW151012.

Summary: A search was conducted for supernovalike neutrino interactions coincident with 76 gravitational wave events detected by the LIGO/Virgo Collaboration. Limits were set on the fluence of neutrino flavors for some events, based on energy and time distributions corresponding to supernova models.
