G.213 rootstock - Alternative to apple tree cultivation in different planting areas in southern Brazil

Summary: The study evaluated the development, quality, and productivity of Maxi Gala apple fruit grafted on different rootstocks under different planting conditions. It was found that different rootstocks had different characteristics in terms of vigor, productivity, and efficiency, with G.213 rootstock having low vigor but high productive efficiency, while M.9 rootstock showed the opposite.

Geneva® Series Rootstocks for Apple Trees Under Extreme Replanting Conditions in Southern Brazil

Results showed different vigor levels among rootstocks, with G.213 exhibiting higher yield efficiency but lower productivity. G.210 rootstock performed the best in the Fuji Suprema cultivar.
