Summary: The paper establishes a dynamic model of balance rope under multiple constraints with friction using the non-equal-length element division method based on absolute nodal coordinate formulation. It derives the natural frequency of the balance rope under multiple constraints, and solves the differential algebraic equations with friction constraint equations using the expanded KDP generalized-alpha scheme. The feasibility of the NEL-EDM is verified through analysis using MATLAB, ANSYS, and RECURDYN software.
