Implicit Multimodal Crowdsourcing for Joint RF and Geomagnetic Fingerprinting

Jiajie Tan et al.

Summary: In fingerprint-based indoor localization, fusing RF and geomagnetic signals has been proven to be effective. Implicit crowdsourcing can be used to collect fingerprints, where pedestrians' signals are automatically labeled with their locations. This study introduces implicit multimodal crowdsourcing for joint RF and geomagnetic fingerprinting, which mitigates sensor noise and improves accuracy without manual intervention.

Embedding-Assisted Attentional Deep Learning for Real-World RF Fingerprinting of Bluetooth

Anu Jagannath et al.

Summary: We propose a scalable and computationally efficient framework for fingerprinting real-world Bluetooth devices, called Mbed-ATN. It utilizes an embedding-assisted attentional framework and demonstrates its generalization capability in different settings, as well as the effects of sample length and anti-aliasing decimation. Unlike prior research, we accurately evaluate the complexity and fingerprinting capability of the model using a real-world Bluetooth dataset collected under a different time frame and experimental setting.
