Performance and acute procedural outcomes of the EnSite Precision™ cardiac mapping system for electrophysiology mapping and ablation procedures: results from the EnSite Precision™ observational study

Jonathan C. Hsu et al.

Summary: In a real-world study analysis, the use of the EnSite Precision (TM) mapping system was associated with high procedural stability, short mapping times, high point density requiring infrequent editing, low fluoroscopy time, and high prevalence of acute procedural success.

Zero and Minimal Fluoroscopic Approaches During Ablation of Supraventricular Tachycardias: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Dorottya Debreceni et al.

Summary: In this meta-analysis, a comparison was made between conventional fluoroscopy-guided procedures and zero/minimal fluoroscopy approaches using electroanatomical mapping systems for the treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). The results showed that the zero/minimal fluoroscopy approach significantly reduced radiation exposure and ablation time without compromising treatment success rates or complication rates.

Zero Fluoroscopy Arrhythmias Catheter Ablation: A Trend Toward More Frequent Practice in a High-Volume Center

Federica Troisi et al.

Summary: This study described procedures with and without X-Rays and evaluated the feasibility, safety, and short-term efficacy of a zero fluoroscopy intervention in a high-volume center. The results showed an increasing trend in the use of fluoroless procedures, which achieved high feasibility and efficacy with low rates of major complications.

Frantisek Lehar et al.

Summary: This study aimed to assess whether exposure to ionizing radiation during catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) can be completely avoided. The results showed that the procedural safety and efficacy of the zero-fluoroscopic approach are similar to those of conventional fluoroscopy-based ablation.
