An Overview of Aerosol Properties in Clear and Cloudy Sky Based on CALIPSO Observations

Yulan Hong et al.

Summary: This study investigates the different properties of aerosols in cloud-free and cloudy conditions on a global scale, as well as the relative vertical positions between cloud and aerosol layers. The results show variations in optical depth and uncertainty between cloud-free and cloudy aerosols, as well as differences in the impact of different aerosol types on climate.
