A facile approach was proposed to fabricate nanospherical CoFe2O4/Ti3C2Tx composites with excellent microwave absorption performance. The composite exhibited synergistic effects of dielectric loss, magnetic loss, multiple reflection, and conductive loss due to its unique structure and impedance matching. With 80 wt% CoFe2O4 and a matching thickness of 2.6 mm, the CoFe2O4/Ti3C2Tx composite demonstrated a minimum reflection loss (RLmin) of -77.2 dB at 8.0 GHz, making it a promising microwave absorbent.
A facile approach was proposed to fabricate the nanospherical CoFe2O4/Ti3C2Tx composites. The composite exhibited an excellent microwave absorption performance, which can be attributed to the synergism of dielectric loss, magnetic loss, multiple reflection and conductive loss from the unique structure and impedance matching. As a result, the minimum reflection loss (RLmin) was - 77.2 dB at 8.0 GHz for the CoFe2O4 / Ti3C2Tx composite with 80 wt% CoFe2O4 and the matching thickness of 2.6 mm, which demonstrated that the CoFe2O4/Ti3C2Tx composites are favorable as promising microwave absorbents.
