This article presents results of a study of photovoltaic devices based on organic compounds, called SP69, SP70, SP71-helical structures containing 7-membered fused rings. During tests heterojunction solar cells were built with ITO/PEDOT:PSS/organic active layer/aluminum architecture, in which an active layer was two- or three-component organic compounds mixture. Parameters characterizing a photovoltaic cell were determined based on current-voltage characteristics. Conversion efficiency of light energy for helicene and P3HT active layer was about 1%, for P3HT:PCBM and helicene about 2%. There was also ellipsometric spectroscopy research performed.
