Problems of purchasing pharmacy products through online orders

Summary: Online pharmacy services and online ordering of pharmaceutical products are in high demand, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Women are more likely to purchase from online pharmacies, possibly due to their concern for family or loved ones. The most commonly purchased items in online pharmacies are drugs, dietary supplements, hygiene, and care products. Among prescription drugs, those used for the treatment of coronavirus infection and its complications are widely ordered, particularly by women and older patients.

Understanding non-adopters' intention to use internet pharmacy: Revisiting the roles of trustworthiness, perceived risk and consumer traits

Summary: This study investigates the influential factors underlying non-adopters' intention of using Internet pharmacies, finding that perceived usefulness and trustworthiness significantly affect non-adopters' intention. Perceived ease of use positively impacts perceived usefulness and trustworthiness, while perceived risk negatively affects trustworthiness. The moderating effects of consumer traits are also considered.
