Wireless Resonant Energy Link for Joint Flexion Monitoring: Experimental Investigation by Using a NanoVNA

Nizar Brahim et al.

Summary: This paper experimentally investigates the use of a wireless resonant energy link for joint flexion monitoring. Configurations using two and four coils are analyzed through a compact and very low-cost setup suitable for the implementation of a wearable monitoring system.

Design Method of Three-Coil WPT System Based on Critical Coupling Conditions

Dong-Wook Seo

Summary: The study reviewed the impedance characteristics of the critically-coupled two-coil wireless power transfer system, highlighting the limitation of conventional three-coil systems to achieve the same impedance characteristics. By proposing a design method that changes the free resonant frequencies, a higher power transfer efficiency was successfully achieved in a three-coil wireless power transfer system compared to traditional two-coil and three-coil systems.
