High-performance cellulose nanofiber-derived composite films for efficient thermal management of flexible electronic devices

Bo Zhang et al.

Summary: Heat dissipation materials are crucial for thermal management in high-power-density flexible electronic devices. Conventional materials often fail to meet the required thermal conductivity and mechanical properties simultaneously, and enhancing their performance usually involves complex procedures. In this study, a simple and robust synthesis method was developed to create a high-performance thermal management material by processing natural cellulose nanofibers and graphite nanoplatelets.

Extraction of material properties through multi-fidelity deep learning from molecular dynamics simulation

Mahmudul Islam et al.

Summary: Using multi-fidelity physics informed neural networks (MPINN) to simulate long physical processes via molecular dynamics proves to be a cost-effective and accurate approach. By determining the optimal percentage of high-fidelity training data required, high system properties accuracy can be achieved while saving computational costs up to 68%. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of MPINN in predicting nanofluid viscosity accurately with significantly fewer MD simulations, opening doors to investigate more complex engineering problems requiring long-range MD simulations.
