Closed-Form Formulas for the nth Derivative of the Power-Exponential Function xx

Jian Cao et al.

Summary: In this paper, the authors provide a brief overview of closed-form, explicit, and recursive formulas for the nth derivative of the power-exponential function xx. They also establish two closed-form and explicit formulas for partial Bell polynomials at specific arguments, and present several new closed-form and explicit formulas for the nth derivative of the power-exponential function x(x) and related functions and integer sequences.

Generalized q-difference equations for (q, c)-hypergeometric polynomials and some applications

Jian Cao et al.

Summary: This paper investigates (q, c)-derivative operators, (q, c)-hypergeometric polynomials, and generalized q-difference equations. By introducing two homogeneous (q, c)-difference operators, the study focuses on generalized (q, c)-Al-Salam-Carlitz polynomials and derives several q-identities using (q, c)-difference equations.

A Review of q-Difference Equations for Al-Salam-Carlitz Polynomials and Applications to U(n+1) Type Generating Functions and Ramanujan's Integrals

Jian Cao et al.

Summary: In this review paper, we study the progress and extensions of q-difference equations for generalized Al-Salam-Carlitz polynomials related to theta functions, q-exponential operators, and Rogers-Szego polynomials. We provide proofs, transformational identities, generating functions, and integrals involving these polynomials using q-difference equations. Furthermore, we derive extensions of the Andrews-Askey integral through q-difference equations.

Applications of q-Derivative Operator to the Subclass of Bi-Univalent Functions Involving q-Chebyshev Polynomials

Bilal Khan et al.

Summary: In recent years, the usage of q-derivative and symmetric q-derivative operators has become significant. This study highlights many known concepts of the q-derivative operator and introduces a new subclass of analytic and bi-univalent functions using the symmetric q-derivative operator and certain q-Chebyshev polynomials. Additionally, coefficient bounds and Fekete-Szego inequalities are provided for these newly defined functions' classes, with some known consequences presented in the form of remarks to validate the results.

NOTE ON SOME CLASSES OF HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTIONS RELATED TO JACK'S AND SCHWARZ'S LEMMA

M. Mateljevic et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the relationship between holomorphic mappings on the unit disc and the corresponding index. The Jack's lemma is used as the main tool to establish this connection. As a result, estimates on the growth of certain classes of α-starlike functions and their generalizations are obtained.

A Subclass of Multivalent Janowski Type q-Starlike Functions and Its Consequences

Qiuxia Hu et al.

Summary: In this article, a new subclass of analytic and multivalent functions is defined using the theory of quantum calculus. This subclass is invariant under rotations and generalizes various subclasses of analytic functions, including some q-analogues. The properties of this newly-defined class, such as sufficiency criteria, coefficient bounds, distortion problem, growth theorem, radii of starlikeness and convexity, are studied and discussed. The article concludes that the results can be obtained for the (p,q)-variations with straightforward simplification, as the additional parameter p is unnecessary.
