The crystal structure of a biologically active compound reveals a network of hydrogen bonding interactions.
The title compound, C10H13N5O4 center dot 2C(2)H(6)OS, which is of interest with respect to its biological activity, at 183 K has orthorhombic (P2(1)2(1)2(1)) crystal symmetry. The structure displays a network of intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot N, N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds. 2'-Deoxyguanosine molecules are linked to each other and to the two dimethyl sulfoxide solvent molecules by hydrogen bonding.
