Cultural Adaptations of Motivational Interviewing: A Systematic Review

Randomized Controlled Trial of Motivational Interviewing for Alcohol and Cannabis Use Within a Predominantly Hispanic Adolescent Sample

Summary: This study found that motivational interviewing (MI) was equally effective for Hispanic and non-Hispanic white youth, more effective than an educational control in reducing alcohol use, but not significant in reducing cannabis use.
