Summary: The formation of Mizo nationalist consciousness is closely related to religion and the spiritual support of Christianity. The experience of suffering during the Rambuai period has become an important theme in Mizo literature. The Dead, the War, and Ethnic Identity: Ghost Narratives in Post-War Srebrenica

Summary: This article explores the role of ghost narratives related to the genocide of Bosniak people in Srebrenica, attributing them to persistent denial of genocide by Serbian population and Bosniaks' strong sense of injustice. Ghost stories in war discourse help Bosniaks articulate and maintain memory, reclaim space, acquire some control and empowerment, and occasionally transmit ideological messages in post-war identity processes.
