Assistive technology use and unmet need in Canada

Summary: This study utilized data from the 2012 Canadian Survey on Disability to investigate the current use and unmet needs of assistive technology among Canadians with disabilities. The most common assistive technologies used were glasses and hearing aids, while the most common unmet needs were for hearing aids and bathroom aids. The results of this study can inform policymakers, disability organizations, and researchers working in the field of disability policy and programs.
