The obtained calcium carbonate was used to synthesize hydroxyapatite using orthophosphoric acid through the wet precipitation method. This study demonstrates the feasibility of utilizing sugarcane filter cake as a sustainable raw material for the production of calcium carbonate and hydroxyapatite.
